Drawing on my extensive experience as a Reiki practitioner and meditation teacher, as well as my own personal experiences, I will work with you to give you the tools to address the issues that are affecting you, such as:
There are many issues that each of us can come up against in our lives – whether it is a feeling of being stressed, or too much tension, or a breakdown in a relationship; suffering from anxiety, fear, or depression; financial strain that causes stress; feeling of emotional upset and trauma, for a particular reason or even without a reason. These issues can leave us feeling confused, out of control, angry, fearful. It can be hard to know where to turn or who to talk to.
I can help you deal with these issues by taking you through some meditation techniques, using relaxation methods and visualisation, and teaching you to work with your chakras (energy centres) to bring balance and harmony to your mind, body and spirit.
The key here is that the techniques we go through during the session will be something that you can take away and do any time, on your own – giving you control in your life, when you need it.
The main focus is on visualisation. Visualisation is a powerful tool which can help to change the way the mind and emotions respond. Visualisation gives a focus, and takes the mind away from unhealthy thought processes. Focus, visualisation, and intention are the core aspects that we will work with together, to transform the way that you perceive, react and act to the circumstances in your life.
Each session will be personally tailored to you and your circumstances. By talking through your issues, and reviewing each session, we will work together to move you forward into a more positive way of thinking, feeling and being.
The first session will be 90 minutes, to include consultation time, talking with you to assess your needs and the right meditation techniques and tools for you. After the first session, you can choose following sessions to be for an hour or 90 minutes.
It is advisable to have at least several sessions, as meditation is more effective when it is practised on a regular basis. It can take time and effort to control the mind enough to relax and enter into a state of meditation. With regular sessions, the practise of meditation becomes easier, and the effects become more noticeable.
Throughout your sessions with me, we shall continue to review and assess your ongoing needs, tailoring each session to you as appropriate.
I am not a trained counsellor, doctor, or psychologist. These sessions are based on relaxation and meditation techniques to help you begin to change your perspective on the issues at hand, working on your inner mental and emotional state.
