Reiki For Students

 Studying, revising and exams can all put pressure and stress on you and your well-being. If you are finding it difficult to cope, or just feel that you need a way to help you relax and get rid of some stress, then Reiki healing may be for you. 


As Reiki works on every level - physical, mental and emotional - it can aid stress reduction by relaxing the mind, which in turn relaxes the body. With both mind and body feeling relaxed and calm, the stress response in the body is altered, reduced and leaves you feeling calm, clear and refreshed. 

Reiki is great for clearing the mind, leaving it free from all the 'little voices' that we have going around almost constantly... ridding oneself of these voices brings you calm, clarity, and can change the perception of how you feel and think: it can change the 'I can't do this' to 'I see how this is done!'

Once that stress is reduced, and you have the space where you are able to feel relaxed, and calm in mind and body, it helps you to see any previously perceived obstacles in a different light. In essence, what is happening is that by reducing stress levels and allowing relaxation to take place, the mind is then free to see situations from a balanced perspective rather than from the 'ego-mind', which is where fear, anxiety, anger, and guilt stem from. And once we have achieved this state of mind, it is much easier to maintain or re-enter this state again. Reiki brings a sense of balance into one's life, helping you to feel grounded and centered - and this in its turn helps you to feel your true self once again. 


Reiki can also help to reduce and alter feelings of anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Because healing with Reiki works with the Chakra system, it helps to balance and realign these energy centres, shifting and changing the energy that is being held there, whether that is emotionally, mentally or even physically. 

By working on the energy layers, as well as clearing and calming the mind and body, Reiki can help to increase alertness and maintain focus. It is also good for helping to reduce headaches, fatigue, and broken sleep patterns.
